There are many ways to give of your time, talent and treasure to the Glastonbury A Better Chance.

Board of Directors

The Glastonbury ABC is directed by a committed team of Board of Directors who play a major role in the daily operation of the Glastonbury ABC House while acting as a support system for our scholars. Trustees meet monthly and are assigned to one of the following committees: finance, fundraising, communications, house maintenance, and scholar recruitment.

Host Families

Glastonbury A Better Chance Host Parents are the keystone of our program. Eight Glastonbury families open their homes and hearts to our scholars each year. Students spend most Wednesday evenings and one full weekend a month with their host families to enjoy family activities, homework support and life outside of school demands. Host Families also act as a point of contact to the Scholars family, partnering with them as parents and providing a resource of information on their child’s progress and development while at the Glastonbury ABC House. Many host families and scholars begin life-long relationships.
